Borking Around

I’ve been fooling with the color scheme a little in order to make the blog look a bit more pleasing to the eye. The white-on-black color scheme was just too dull. If anyone has suggestions or complaints, go ahead and fire off an email at me. Later on, I intend to have user-selectable stylesheets, so you can choose at your own discretion how you prefer to view the page.

True Lies

As much as I dislike smoking (and often nag Jordi about it), I will not sit idly as others use deceit and half-truths to attack it. For all the good reasons to stop smoking, or to never start, it seems the folks at thetruth.com (best known for their TV commercials) can’t actually argue the cause without injecting some form of misdirection. I’ve long disliked their advertisements and wished to rant about them to anyone who’ll listen. Now that I’ve got a blog, it looks like I can.

First Things First

Jordi BunsterBefore I get to the actually interesting stuff, I want to take a moment to thank my good friend Jordi Bunster for taking the time to help me set up Movable Type. In addition to helping with installation, he stuck around long enough to assist me in writing more aesthetic templates, which admittedly resemble (read: were stolen from) his, and are leagues better than the default.
